XKR Brembos with Focus RS discs are a goer!

My brake engineering guy has successfully made brakets to hang my spanking new Brembos of the carrier, to fit my spanking whopping RS discs, hope to have them fitted by the weekend. Will look tasty anyway!

Sounds great, but are you 'uprating' the rears aswell? I'd guess the rears need to go larger to balance the moving of the bias to the front that will occur with this change.

Dont think it will matter, the other way yes, as have driven over braked rear cars, good fun tho.

I've got 310mm discs on the front (factory Spider conversion) and the pedal feel and stopping power is awesome but the bias is far too much at the front now.

I was of the opinion that it would be ok, and it is generally but it's not perfect. I will be looking in to a better rear setup in the near future in an attempt to even things up.

Your brakes sound quite large (size of disc?) and you will have the same problem, but I guess it depends how hard drive as to whether you'll notice it or not. Optimum bias is obviously better for safety reason also.
