Boot lock mounting failure

After putting my Chim in the garage for the night, I noticed the bootlid was sitting proud of the rear wings - is if it had been closed, but not actually clicked into the locking catch.

But in fact it was engaged - when I unlocked it, I found that the whole locking catch has come loose - one of the two bolts that hold the catch in place has broken the GRP mounting they are screwed into.

Has this happened to anyone else? If so how did you fix it? I am thinking a damn great load of epoxy...
