Something that's long bothered me with my car is the pi$$ poor lights. Even after having one of the usual conversions done, they are acceptable rather than good, as I would prefer.

Saw a car at Chimfest with some PIAA mini-drive lamps in the top half of the front aperture and it didn't look bad at all...like a griff but subtler (naturally). Just wondering if anyone has tried this and with what results as space is restricted and small reflectors must restrict output, musn't they? Just looked at the PIAA website and it seems there's a fair few will physically go in the space (including some snazzy multibeam jobs)...

So, you all eat your carrots or never venture out after dark then?

Think these will look daft, or even work?

There's been a few threads posted about 'poor lights' and I have to admit, I just don't get it. My standard H4s work just fine, even with dirty reflectors.

I think that it will spoil the appearance of the car.
have you considered a proper Zenon kit (not to be confused with zenon bulbs), this gives you white lights like the latest BMW/Audi/Merc etc:
Find at www.hids4u.co.uk
No I haven't got them but may do when finances permit

Did you not find that the Xenon bulbs, rather than the kit, helped at all? They are very cheap on ebay and certainly seemed to help on one of my previous cars.

It's got Vision plus bulbs, decent wiring and the Hella lamps as supplied with the 'speed six' conversion. It's not so much that the light isn't 'bright' enough just that there isn't enough of it (dipped cut-off is very abrupt also with 'dark' areas on the fron qtrs that make low speed manouvering in tight areas especially dodgy). Of course, it might just be me getting older and suffering macular degeneration... god alone knows how Tyre-Tread manages

Looks a tidy one from the pics, apart from the go faster Fiesta fox lights and the badge on the side next to the indicator repeaters.
And I'm glad my wipers don't park in that position. Obviously the garage doesn't understand TVR's or they would have turned them of when in the n/s parking position (presumably they don't self park, isn't that an MOT faliure?)
