Well, off to London tomorrow to hopefully purchase my dream. 1998 Silver 500. Assuming all goes well with the test drive i'll bring driving her back to Cardiff in the afternoon. Its been a long hard wait but hopefully it'll be worth it. The owner has been superb, sending photos, answering all my questions etc which has been a new experience (my last car purchase was a nightmare) so fingers crossed all will be good. I just need to make sure i don't get a ticket on the way back to Cardiff now. Will post some pics when i get chance (buying off a PH member).

Good man - best purchase you ever made Yeah, watch out for the cameras on the M4. Wiltshire has camera vans, and as I'm sure you know, Wales has them anywhere there's a limit under 70 (and for all I know other places as well). The toll plaza for the bridge is particularly annoying - but I don't think there's any cameras after the tollbooths so you can smoke the tyres on the way out

Just take it easy and respect the torque! Hope the weather allows you to take the roof down.
Be good to have another TVR in South Wales, as there arent many around here. I'm often in and around Cardiff, give you a wave and a hoot if I see you!
