well picked up the car last night after having a few 'extra ' bits done after the standard service.

fast road cam
new set uprated rocker arms
new hydraulic tappets
full set up

what a difference...just made me realise how much tappet noise was coming out before and beautifully smooth to drive now.

come on mild or wild,what cam did you fit.you can tell us...

nothing too extreme... just decided to upgrade to a kent fast road cam as the existing needed replaceing and that didnt involve too much other mods( lifters , valves etc) has made a surprising amount of difference though.. very pleased..

Mine's got a 218 cam which I know nothing about at all ......anybody care to shed some light on this part ?

Standard cam for a 4L as far as I know. It's what I've just had put in mine as I was happy with the way it was before replacement was needed.
