Have a problem with my 94 400, one of my front calipers needs as refurb seal is missing and it has siezed once on me. Its working now but needs sorting. Also could do with new disks so I'm thinking of going down the Saphire Cossie route. I've most of the previous threads and would like to clarify what I need.

I believe I need RWD disks with 4WD calipers plus i intend to fit braded hoses.

Where's best source for the parts and what sort of costs involved.

Any mods needed with this set up or will it bolt straight on?

Not necessarily 4 pots, it just seems to make sense to go for new calipers, with as little modification as possible, rather than refurb the old ones...

i was going to say get refurbed granada single piston cossie callipers if you get them from certain motor factors they will take in your old callipers even if there not same model in exchange so long as they have two to return you dont pay surcharge and you get your bigger callipers, they work great with early 2wd cossie front discs, you have to space calliper from hub with one washer on each lug 2mm approx perfectly safe with the bolts from the same car as callipers lugs have to be drilled out to new bolt size(doddle)safe also, loads of meat around lugs.uses standard chim hose as well, loads of stopping power i used standard pads with grooved discs, big improvement and cures rear brake bias problem in damp conditions.

Dot 5 fluid and Ferodo DS2500 pads transformed my otherwise standard brakes. No problems on trackdays let alone on the road.
