wiper park switch connections

I need to know which wires go to which connections. In pulling it off the base of the motor it came away and off came the wires!

The pin connections are 1,3 and 5 and the wire colours are yellow, blue and red.

Identifying the wires from front of the car to the back would be pin 1 and that is angled differently to the other two.

On mine the angled one was blue, then yellow, then red.

just a thought...

these switches are notoriuos for not lasting long (i am on my third now in two years!) - when i fitted the last one i sprayed around it and smothered the actual switch with waxoyl. The switch is still working too date...wheres that damn piece of wood i always touch when i mention that my car is working fine...

That's a good idea. I was told to pack the bit where the wires attach with grease...
