Are there any PHers in the Plymouth area with a Chimaera that I could possibly meet with and <neck stretches RIGHT out!> see if it will fit in my garage! I've measured galore and I've got to say, it's borderline. I don't dare buy one unless I know I can garage it!

Any help appreciated

Nick

I make frequent trips to Plymouth from Newquay and would be more than willing to supply Chimaera to check fitting. How can I contact you when I'm next planning a visit?

Is this the kind of thing you're thinking of? I have to take the roof off before I park and then climb out through the top. Also I have a mirror on the end wall so I can line up.

I think the garage is 7ft wide at its narrowest point.

I had a visitor yesterday that confirmed the fit (Thanks Roger!).

I would be in much the same situation, I would definately have to climb out - no room to open the door!

Well, at least it's more of a step than a climb - the Chimaera is pretty low.

I keep threatening to put some suspended storage space above the car. And maybe then I could rig a system of ropes and pulleys of my own devising to lift me in and out.

I did once suggest knocking a hole in the garage wall so the door could open, but the missus threatened to call the men in white coats.
