boot lid

every time i go out in chim 5.0 the boot releases its self, i've tried disconnecting wiring from push button but still does it, anyone had same problem or any suggestions

Maybe you need to tighten the latch mechanism?

i found mine done the same the rivets that hold it together were loose and the mechanism was all floppy,i took it off peened over the rivets for the latch refiited and hey presto,fixed.
