Hi all, what does this mean?
Fan connection shorted by piece of wire for both 1 & 2:
1. ignition on - engine not running - fans running as would be expected
2. engine running and fans stop after a moment...?????

Sorry is already covered somewhere - did read dozens of posts....

How can this be..?

Knackered otter switch? I had something similar, I have an overide switch on mine and when otter failed and I ran on overide with fans on, if I switched engine off and then turned it back on fans didn't run till I turned fan switch off and back on. Now replaced otter and all working normally!

I have the wires disconnected from the otter switch and shorted together.
With engine off ignition on the fans run but with engine running the fans stop - its most odd as I would have thought electrically ignition on with or without engine running would be the same.....

Waldenway have changed the Otter switch bled and topped up the coolant - all for 68 squidlies.

Just need to give it a nice slow drive on a nice hot day through a town centre to see if its really fixed......
