Unexpected compliments!!

So there I am in the bar at Cologne airport last Friday, sitting on the 2 stools next to me are a middle aged couple, obviously colleagues - sharp suits etc. Snippets of their conversation went something like:
Him: "Blah blah not really happy with my 996, have to get a 997 blah blah"
Her: "My Boxster is OK but I drove a DB9 last week and it was so cool blah blah"
Him: "Keep up the good work and your bonus will get you one"
By now I'm thinking these are tw
ts who must work in some grossly over-profitable industry. Anyway he spots the Autoglym advert in the Autocar I'm reading and asks if he can show the pic of the DB6 to her. No problem of course and we end up chatting:
Me: "Blah blah I must be in the wrong job, you guys are chopping new Porsches around and all I have is a 14 year old Chimaera"
Them: "You are so lucky, what a fantastic car, I would love one, we are so jealous, etc etc etc"
Left me with a very warm feeling, which I still have despite the gearstick coming off in my hand on Monday.
