Just thought i'd say Hi (if theres a newbies section feel free 2 move me there but i can't find it lol).
I am actually registered on here under the name "Lizzy" as my boyfreind Jason Bennett (JasonBen) who had a Cerbera, died in a crash last year, and was a devoted and popular member of PH.
But now a year on I can finally register as a fellow car entusiast as I've just bought a Chimaera! yay
It's had over 5k spent on the exhaust, suspension, chassis etc so all thats needed is a new paint job and some interior trimming and it should be a nice little car. Good news 4 me as thats what i do for a living!
When it's finished in the bodyshop I'll hopefully be bringing it out 2 a fair few PH events as I'd love to meet some fellow owners 2 swap Chim tips and advice and also join in the TVR fun!

nono Ten months in and over 450 posts and still making a fundamental newbie mistake.

Blue is fastest, always has been. Now write out 100 times, 'Must remeber blue TVR's are fastest'

I cant say how happy this post has made me! Thats my old Chimaera and I'm glad she's gone to a good home. Had her for 4 years, before part-exing her for a Cerbie, so if you have any questions let me know I should be able to help. Its a good car and I had her pretty much rebuilt from the ground up in may this year. If you live anywhere near cambridge Id recommend taking her to Offords as the know the car inside out and are a good indie.

Blue ones are only fastest because red ones dont count as they are far too fast to be mentioned in the argument about which one is fastest!!!!!!!!

I thought red ones don't count as they're too quiet! People think it's just another MX5 trundling past..... wobblewobble

Lizzy, as you may know i did a lot of the tuning work on Jason's cerbera, he was exactly the sort of customer i like .. enthusiastic, friendly and genuinely a true TVR fan.

I'm absolutely delighted you've got yourself a Chimaera, I wish you the very best of luck with it and i hope you have many happy miles of motoring.

If you're ever in Chesterfield please call in and say hi, it would be great to meet you.

best wishes from all track car solutions
