A covered cubbyhole. Easy to remove too though I don’t understand why he used oak.

People must think us TVR owners have more money than sense, as you say why use oak???

I agree. Completely wrong choice of timber... elm or wlanut would be much nicer

Saw it when it appeared and initially thought, 'hmmm...' Since then, I've decided there's bugger all that would fit in it apart from sweets anyway. And, as I'm fat enough already, it's prolly not high on my list of things to do...

Now, if someone can come up with an arm pad/rest to go in the door pockets...

But you won't see the oak, so it may as well be polystyrene or GRP.

As for arm rests, I find my arm rests very comfortably on the window sill.

Probably helps to be 6'5" though!

Hi Bob.

sorry to bust in to the forum but cannot find your E-Mail address.

wondered if you had any info on the following.

Thinking of buying a westfield that was factoty built fitted with a 4.1 TVR engine.

from that info can you possibly give me

1/ BHP of this engine? (think it may be 325bhp?)

2/ is this a modded rover V8, as I have been told that TVR own engines have a bit of a reliabilty problem.

Hope you get the job done this weekend. andrew@andrewshenton.wanadoo.co.uk

Im also 6`5" and the door arm rest is not comfortable it needs someting to fill the hole, i currently use my wallet, but the later we get into the month the more uncomfortable it gets

I'm too busy doing the "To Me - To You - To Me" with the steering wheel keeping her on the road to worry about resting my elbow

Seriously though i'm only about 5'10 and elbows etc all fit snug as a bug.. Like being in a Pub Sofa (or on one )

4.1 V8..?? Did any of the wedges have a 4.1.? Don't think so. I'll bet its a standard TVR 400. You wouldn't get 325bhp out of a 500 let alone 4.1 hehe

For a higher armrest in the door, I use 2 DVD boxes with a piece of foam at the top, covered buy sticky back plastic (all very blue peter) - I find this fits perfectly into the slot and is a lot more comfortable on a long journey
