Oil change in Gearbox and diff.

I have a 1998 chim with T5 gearbox and BTR diff, Where are the drain and refil plugs on them? had a quick look but could not see them. I have the chance of using a pit next weekend so would like to be prepared. Thanks.

The gearbox drain plug is on the drivers side of the gearbox. Filler/level plug just above.

The diff drain plug is at the back of the lower end of the diff cover and the filler/level on the drivers side close to the output flange.

Not an easy task even with a pit. Have you the correct synthetic oil and tools for the job.
The gearbox fluid is thin, the diff is exactly the opposite., especially when cold.
