Just dropped the Chim off for its 12,000 mile service. Had some spare time, ended up doing 40 miles with the roof down in the sunshine - fantastic, just what TVR's are all about.....keeping my fingers crossed the service bill doesnt wipe the daft smile off my face....

Unlikely. The factor alone makes it worth every penny. Lovely example you've got there, blujay10.

Where do you take it for its service? I'm in Kent too, Tenterden. Used Dream Machines for the first year whilst it was under used car warrenty, good but expensive. Think I'll use Chris Baldock at James Motorsports in future, more realistic designs on my wallet!
Took mine out for a run down to St Margarets bay, wonderful day for driving a TVR, aren't they all?
Always the funny thing is that when I first set off and the shocks and things have to warm up the thing rattles a bit and I think "it's good but not that good". But after a few miles I just want to drive it all day, everything running nice and smoothly and the burble of the exhaust etc:

A couple of weeks back, driving along the M2 and the skys opened. I had the roof down, to stop getting wet I lowered the windows, drove down Bluebell Hill (Kent) and up Boxley Hill (a great hill climb). It was a fantastic drive, only got wet when waiting at roundabout. Convertables are great in the rain!

Mine goes to Paul at Walldenway in larkfield.
Always done me proud with nothing being too much trouble. Not the cheapest but you do get a discount with TVRCC membership.

Picked the Chim up last night .... another very impressive service carried out by Paul and his team at Walldonway.thumbup

They had it a week, carried out full service and fixed loads of things that werent carried out properly last year, including brake pads and pipes, steering rack sorting, proper outrigger refurb (not just a quick waxoil spray...) elephant ears, cigar lighter, refix door trim etc etc all for just under £1,000 including the service (£595) - better than last year by £200!
Another great drive in this morning!
