One of my window rubbers, the front one on the driver's side has worked its way down about an inch. Now the window is not cosseted in rubber at the top and consquently rattles against the aluminimum runner, which is annoying me. It must also be causing more wind noise. Has anyone else had this problem and if so what was the fix?

Hi, Yes I had the same problem.

wind the window all the way down.

pull out a few inches of window rubber.

(tricky bit) Power up the window while pulling up the rubber.

re-align length

push rubber back in with touch of glue/sealant.

job done.

Thanks Mike, Is the rubber glued in at all as standard, or does it just fit in the slot. I will try this tonight.

Mine was just a push fit, but the garage tech. said he always glue's them in when he's done this job.

only a few dabs to stop future slipping.

Mike, rubber now back up, but need to fiddle more to get the rubber seated properly in the slot. The window goes up and down nicely thouhh, and no rattles! Thanks again.
