I think my driver's door has dropped a little, causing a larger than normal gap at the front and also between window glass and targa seal. The bible says that it's a job for an expert anyone had any positive experience in fixing this with any garages near North East Lincolnshire (Grimsby area). Advice/suggestions required.

Not had this my self but i beleive that there is a screw head under the rubber seal (out side of the car) which you can adjust the window hight up or down. I think that if you put the window right down and grab a torch you might be able to see what i'm talking about. When the search page come back up (down at the mo) you can do a search.

My doors have also dropped. Apparently it's a pig of a job to re-align them so I've left as is but adjusted the windo height.
Only thing is it means the doors need a bit of a slam to close them.

Hi Guys,

Thanks for the replies. It is the door dropped, but adjusting the window up will probably help. I'm just going to give it a go. Last time I looked for the adjuster I couldn't see it so hopefully I'll have better luck this time. Zippee, any idea how much of a pig of a job is this for a specialist? The bible says there is a risk of damaging paintwork, so I thought I'd leave it to someone like Offords, but just wondered what it might set me back.

Thanks again

Window now raised thanks for the help. TVR ownership would be a lot more tricky (and pricey) without the help of all the people who post here. clap

I thought in my wisdom that it made sense to leave the doors open on my S3c whilst garaged to help dry it out (it tended to leak a bit) and they dropped. My own fault and not one I've repeated in the Chimaera (then again it doesn't leak either)!
