Meta alarm sounder

Hi Guys

I'm after a replacement alarm sounder for my 1996 Chimaera, it has the Meta alarm system.

I don't need a new one, just a functional one. I understand that they aren't available new anymore anyway! I don't want to start thinking about replacing the whole system, so can anybody give me any clues on where i could get a replacment sounder (and what the likely cost would be?).

I'm really asking if anybody has one they have stripped off a racer etc and have one in the back of their garage, which they would let go for a quantity of beer tokens.....

Watch this space - I am about the have Carl check out mine as it is behaving oddly. If the sounder is OK you are welcome to it.
Hopefully should know in a week or two, but understand you might want one before then.

Just had the same problem with mine, turned out to be a problem with the black box, Carl's the man, give him a call.

I've got my Chimaera up for sale at the moment and wanted to sort out a few little niggles for any prospective owner, so i'll give Carl a call and see what he suggests. The alternative would be one of the breakers (Bell Hill, or the other one...).

I've got a complete meta system from my 97 in the shed somewhere, that was working ok on removal barring the fobs were de-synchronised (you'd have to synch your fobs to it anyway). If carl can't help you out give me a shout as I was going to put it all on ebay but you can have it for a few beer tokens
