I reckon it could look stunning. I am half tempted to go with black wheels on my (red) BoxS. Wouldn't work on our blue Chimaera...

I've been shouting at photoshop for far too long now, so if anyone knows how to explain in simple terms how to merge an image of a wheel on to an image of my car I owe you one. beer

A quick bash at it:

Done quickly in Photoshop, with a selection mask, then curves and a bit of contrast.

i didnt mean as in the "Chimaera's" wheels i meant as in an after market wheel, such as;
www.speedywheels.com.au/images/zoom/wheels/spyder-gold.jpg
Or maybe a pair of these in black/chrome edge's;
www.forgeline.com/wheels/so3p_black.jpg
