Sorry mate mine fitted OK. I can't actually remember if it's shaped to an oval at the base.... scratchchin

Is it a Leven one or home-made?

Bought an alloy jobbie from a corsa that should have gone straight on but the lever was not circular. About an hour with file and then unscrewed the button so not to damage it as i "persuaded" the new handle to fit with a wooden malet!!!

apparently there are 2 different handbrake types, if you look from the back of the car straight down on the lever one goes straight on, and one that bends to the left.....

i dunno if the handle profile changed itself though sorry...
