Hi all,
Theres a button with a light on the door knob it does'nt appear to do anything if you press it in and it flickers when you arm the car.
Is it broke?

It's supposed to lock off the external buttons to the door release when you press it.

..i.e. if you sit inside & press the button it lights up. This should signify that the car door can't be opened from the outside.

Even if the light doesnt work as long as you get the click its working.

To get the light working its a fuse that needs replacing.

then its working, if you try and open the car from the inside then it negates the central locking, get someont to open the car via the external button.

I always hold my breath if I inadvertantly press the external button when the door is locked....it often knacks up the central locking (i.e. you unlock it & the door still won't open!)
