Got the body code from the car. Took it down to Halfords who had it down as a completely different colour?? If anyone does know what the code for Cureton Green is that would be great. Thanks.

Cureton Green is BMW malachite green, Halfords have this on record and can mix it up no probs.

Jon,
I thought the Chim in this colour was written off some time ago!
From memory it is 8AM9B but you won't get a match as it's one that you can't match!!! ie full respray at £4k+.

Not sure if thats the code. Couldn't find on my list. You are correct, some colour are not available any more, so repaint only in another colour or as close as you can get to it.

You dont need to do a full respray. You can blend them colours in.I had the front half of my cerb painted and half of one side and it blends perfectly.See my car on my profile.

Might be 8AN9B - One was in the handbook and one on the car but can't recall which way around and the car is away until next week.
Not sure of the Chim details - It was Jason at Webbs that told me so I assumed he'd had it in and it was written off. Gerbil at the factory told me there were 5 in that colour 4 Griffs (which I know all of them) and a Chim (not got any of these details).
Gerbil wouldn't spray it as each time they sprayed a car it came out different. I have some photos of ours and Jason Cooks and they are very different.
If it's the Cerb i'm thinking of I saw you at Santa Pod and Chatsworth - very nice.
