door and door seals

morning everybody,

a couple of issues that perhaps you can help me with?

firstly the door plunger on the driver side that opens the door seems to have a problem. when i push it down it now goes only half the way and won't actually open the door. it doesn't stick, but it wont go any further than half way. i have to open the passenger door, reach in and use the internal door opener to open the drivers side. any simple solutions you can think of?

and secondly the seals around the door on the drivers side seem to perishing at an incredible speed and are letting in water...can anybody recommend a place to get these replaced?

any help is greatly appreciated trust me...

Matt, there's an inspection hole in the B-pillar at the side of the door lock. The hole is covered by a carpet-covered pice of glass fibre (there's a strip of velcro at the bottom). Peel this back and you'll see the mechanism. There's a rod connected to the plunger which clips into a lever to operate it. All will be revealed when you view the bits - you may need a torch.

Try putting silicone spray on the rubber- makes it last longer.

Have you got the part numbers for the seals you ordered? Cheers
