Hello
Not having much luck at tuning the radio in, or I should say my wife isn’t!
Has anyone improved, retrofitted another kind of aerial?

Read the bible and I’m going to check all the earths just as a matter of course any other suggestions

Yep, mod-wise do an aerial upgrade - you should be able to get it here I think:

www.tvruk.tv/

or phone David number 01793 770 730

Assume these are still the right details, found them in a fairly old thread

David Beer is the UK service operation Clarion, drives a Griffith and in his spare time a few years ago started a sideline in electrical "gizmos" for TVRs called Mod-Wise. Davids is now rather busy with Clarion which is why the Mod-Wise web site is somewhat random but is a decent chap and will respond to calls. One of his gizmo's (along with two-speed radiator fans, remote boot opening, high quality headlamp wiring, hot-start relays etc.) was an aerial amplifier for the TVR which is relatively easy to fit.
