Lucas part number is DAB135

This is the version with the three pin injector-style connector. There is a connector included in the box in case you have an earlier type one.

Don't bother with pattern parts. They are half the price, and regularly evicted to File 13 (the bin)!

Cheers for the help guys.

The spark I have looks pretty feeble, and as I have managed to check everything else this is the next part of the system to change.

Is there any way to check the spark strength?

There's probably a more scientific way, but the method I use is to stick a passive strobe in line in the HT lead. A normally passive timing light will do, but you can get special diagnostic ones a couple of inches long that go between the plug lead and the plug. Similarly, you can get injector diagnostic lights to go in th injector wiring loom - although I haven't needed these yet. Called "NOID" lights for some reason.
