Has anyone tried 19" wheels
Discussion
You need to ask yourself why you chose to own a TVR. If it was for the thrill of driving then I think 17" is the limit.
The car would look great with 19" wheels until you came to the first corner or took it on anything other than billiard board smooth roads. The Chim/Griff suspension relies on the flexing tyre sidewalls. Without enough flex your car will suffer from bump steer and tram-lining.

Yesterday my son was forced off the edge of the tarmac in his Mondeo Zetec S. This has as standard fitment very low profile tyres. Both of the N/S wheels were smashed as he went over the lip back onto the black stuff.
Resulting bill will be high, goof job its a company car.
This reinforces my view that these low profile jobbies are great for the track or maybe if you live in Germany.
For the rest of us I think that they are impractical unless you will never hit a pothole/kerb and don't mind a spine jarring ride.
Oh, and I've heard that they are less than superb in the wet too.
This is England!!!!
