Yes I know its been spoken about before but try as I might search refuses to give up the previous posts...

I would like to replace my orange side repeaters 97 R plate chim with clear ones. Will any old ford fiesta jobbies do or is the model/year important ?

There are some on ebay for mk4/5 fiesta which look right. Also some which dont mention model but also look the same.

Minor mod that I would like to complete before London Thunder !

You're right there, they are from that model of Fiesta, but they share them with other fords.

Call me a chav but I've got the smoked version of these on:

Was told by my mates that they'd look chavvy and toss but they decided after fitting that they don't, and are a definite improvement on standard. More importantly I like them (and bollox to anyone who asks if I'm going to get matching LED washer jets to go with them )

Nah, you want some neons

I put blue side repeaters on with high intesity amber LED bulbs as pictured in my profile.I think they look better than the fiat square ones that were on.

Nobody has called them chavvy but i dont think many people have noticed.

jut, maybe i'm getting the chav bug as well, but i think the smoked ones would go really well ( mine is starmist grey). did you have to do anything special to fit, or is it a case of plug and go?
also do they do neon for the wipers and side sills?

Thanks for the input, Ive gone for smoked ones with standard bulbs - yes I am a cheapskate (less than half the price of the LED ones) and they look less chavvy lol

Have to try the amber bulbs and maybe replace with silvered ones if they look crap

I got mine from Halfrauds, £15 for a set and they come in various colours so I have the light smoke option (TBH the orange looked pants against the red paintwork) and it makes all the difference. Fiddly job but ok as long as you dont drop some of the small parts into the body!!!

Plug and play, absolute doddle

When I fitted the clear landrover front indicators I went with wide angle 21 LED amber bulbs, which shine up a treat, but needed load resistors to flash at the correct rate (otherwise they'd flash fast like a blown bulb, due to the lower current draw of the LED bulb) - the side repeaters didn't need this, just a straight swap.
