if you remove the pre cats do you have to fit the cone things .

why? - were from? - how much?

the manifold gaskits are standerd rover v8 arent they?

It seems not, at least not for the 4 litre. The gaskets are std Rover. I went for the later metal ones when I did mine a while back. I'm having trouble getting hold of the round Header to Y piece gasket though so I'd get all the stuff you'll need together before pulling it to bits.

Is that's a question? They are TVR specific. Last time I bought some they needed to know how many bolts were in the joint. Apparently it varies!
