5 year refurb - any recommendations?
Discussion
Hi, have had the car from new and just embarked on a refurb. Done the visibles - new carpets and trim, new roof etc. Now on the mechanicals. The windowscreen wipers have always been complete sh8te and have read here about the replacement kit from Leven. Any endorsements? Worth doing the change ? Also looking at changing the lights - see some satisfaction with this in other threads. Where can I get them done? Based London.
Would be glad to get any other recommendations for upgrading and/or taking some preventative mechanical steps. Advice appreciated guys.

Regarding the leven wiper kit, I bought one a couple of weeks ago and it really is a big difference. Amazingly they actually work like proper wipers!

I agree what a difference, a great investment
Yeah, it does work really well. But - word of advice - buy a tube of superglue. Cos that's all that's holding the washer jet unit to the wiper. And after a few months, one or other WILL fall off. Not a huge problem, but just so you're aware.
Thanks guys - will try the Leven kit on the wipers. Frankly, just some blades that clear the screen would be an improvement.
Ref Ricardo's advice, think a waxoyl could be on the cards and new discs. Is the waxoyl a messy job - I ain't doin'myself (know my finishing skills) but not sure I want the babe even vaguely stripped down to do it. My experience is that any none- factory refitting of stuff leads to more problems. What work does it entail ?
