War(m) Air Query

Following the current pattern of trying to War into the thread title

Those two vents beyond the gear lever in the pic - is there any way to get warm air from those?

Haven't managed it so far!

Yeah, wait for the summer and then you'll have trouble getting cool air from them.

I'm not sure how the ducting is rigged up, but those vents are virtually useless IMO.

It may be worth having a look to see if you can access any of the ducting joins & use some gaffer tape on 'em - improved the airflow on mine....

Mind you on mine it was the side vents that were ineffective - the central ones had a range from really hot, to lukewarm.

Perhaps you have a car that has only cold air ducting to the central vents (I'd like that mod on mine )

It must depend on the phases of the moon, 'cos so much very hot air comes out of my centre vents, it makes my hand hurt if I rest it on the gearlever!

The vents on mine are working well.
In fact that well, the gear stick gets bloody hot to the touch if you don't remember to direct then away from it.
The one on the passenger side didn't appear to work, hose had dropped off at the back.
