Now I know I am asking for trouble when I ask this, but please TRY to be sensible!
How can I persuade my husband that buying another TVR is a good idea. We both regret selling our 5 litre chimp a few years ago and I cannot last much longer without a sports car. I WANT ANOTHER ONE!
Sorry I need to clarify the above. We had a Chimp sold it and got a Cerbera, sold it and got an Elise, sold it and got...... nothing yet! (I haven't updated my profile yet!)

Point out how cheap they are at the moment. Can't hurt to also point out that he's not going to get any unless he buy's one.

Let me get this right.
You are married. You have told him to do something. He hasn't done it. You are still married.

You know I just can't figure this one confused

Seriously though, what's put him off buying another one?

why don't you just take his card out of his wallet and use it to put deposit down on TVR, that's what Mrs Hood done 16 months ago and have been glad she did it ever since.
Glyn.

(incase anyone is confused........i have been known to have panic attacks when it comes to spending money but mrs hood didn't realise i wouldn't for a deposit on a TVR)

Why not just go back to a club meet.... See 10-20 of them lined up, hear them start up.. Then mildly suggest, "why don't we get another one darling".....

And, just to clarify, why oh why oh why doesn't he want one?

Of course. Now I'm not saying I don't want one (TVR that is) I just need to get my head round it again.

How's the jet set lifestyle?

5SMUG,
Looking at your website from your profile, you aren't that far from me.
What about if I drive past a few times giving it "The Burble".
Would that liven him up?
Come to think about it I was down in New Romney yesterday, surprised you didn't hear me!
