I took the battery out the other day for a bit of tlc. After i put it back I noticed the fuel gauge has stopped working!
I must have knocked a wire loose I suppose but I cant see anything obvious. Any idea which one I need to check? Everything else is working just not getting a fuel level reading.

When I first got my car my fuel gauge was intermitent and I traced it to a loose connection. There is a flap in the carpet on the side behind the passenger door and behind it are several block connectors. When I cleaned up all these connections my fuel gauge started working again.

Worth a try I think.

Just had another look & found a white block near the battery that had come apart when I put the carpet back. Put it back together but still no fuel gauge!
Any idea what the disconnected one does? On the female side there is a black/green trace wire. this is looped to the connection beside it. One the male side is a black/grey trace which lines up with the main black green. next to it is a white/brown. There is also a white green connection but this seems redundent. All the wires are very thin so the can't take much load.
Any ideas?
