Hi all,

I was just wondering if anyone has experienced this before.
I have taken the fusebox of the bulhead in preparation for relocating it in the cubby hole behind the passenger seat. Becaus ethe fuse box is now right next to me i have noticed that one of the relays 'chatter' (or clicks very rapidly) sometimes. There is no pattern to it and the car is running really well.
I have singled out which relay it is. If you look on the back it has 2 large brown wires going to it (alternator). I have chenged the relay for an identical one and it has mode no difference. Its not a problem and i beleive that 'If it aint broke, dont fix it'

Cheers

Andy

I had the same - not sure which relay - but it was the drivers door contact switch that was making/breaking contact when i moved against the door - adjusted and fine now.

Andy, it can not be the alternator as that stops at the starter motor. I would not leave it as the contacts will wear out, of course you will then find out what it supplies !! What does it say in your owners hand book ? When its running, pull it out and see what hapens !
