The chims been parked up for a few weeks now due to what i think is the prop shaft nocking. I'm hoping to take it off over the weekend to get sorted, just wondered if any of you have done this and if it's a difficult job. Any advise appreciated!

are you sure its the prop knocking try twisting and pushing up and down on the UJ couplings at the ends to see if you have any play 1st,or see if its rubbing on anything, word of warning it could be from a driveshaft joint also 4 of as well,a common problem on granada,s which is were there from, under load especially going up inclines may come and go,jacking up the rear of the car may make fault go away for a while but it will return when CV joints settle down to there normal position again, please check.

Thanks, I'll try and have a look tomorrow if it stops raining (no room in the garage at the moment)
