The electric window works fine, but the top of the window isn't parallel with the roof, so it touch's at the back and a big gap at the front.

Is it easy to adjust it back straight?

Thanks

There is an ajustable screw which if you do a search you will find plenty of topics on! Not sure if it will help your slopping window problem though? The screw only brings the window up and down a little for that snug fit.

Hope this helps

Neil.

I have exactly the same problem. If I get the window adjusted so it closes parallel with rubber on the roof, it catches on the targa section (and has rubbed a hole in the material) and if I get it adjusted so it doesn't catch on the targa section, it won't close properly. I'd like to get the hood recovered, but I can't do it until this problem is solved.

You might need a new window regulator then? Mine packed in all together and I managed to get a used mechanisum from Bell's Hill near Britol. £50 I think I paid for it and it came with the motor attached to it too! Unfortunately I could not fit it myself so paid a garage 1 and half hours labour to fit.

I've got it sorted.

After taking the door trim off, there was a bolt holding the window mechanism in place in the middle of the door that had come loose allowing the whole window angle to change.

Realligned, tightened and now all lines up Ok.

I agree it took me about 4 hours before I was happy with my passenger side one!
