Does anyone know where I could lay my hands on one of those booster things for shorter folk (ie the missus) as she will want a go in the car when the weather improves. I understand that TVR actually made one (so the bible says). She just can't sit normally and reach the pedals.

Never came across one of those. Think you'll have to get one made or buy her a bustle.

Try doing a search for "booster seats" I seem to remember reading about this somewhere but not sure if the question was really answered ??

I don't know if it will help you, but you can adjust the brake and clutch pedal heights by screwing the footpad out. They're secured by a locknut on the back. Can't be done with the accelerator though.

If the Chimaera is the same as the Griff you can adjust the accelerator but the adjustment is at the top of the arm where the mechanism bolts to the car.

theres a couple of variations on the seat runners also,i couldent work out how my brothers chims drivers seat moved furthur forward than mine turns out my one had been set up for a tall driver, removed seat and found out why,the seat runners are multi holed,my ones were on the longer settings, this job took me about 20 minutes to put right, now if you were 5ft 5in my seat would fit you, yet still goes back enough for a six footer.

If you get the pedal set from Leven you can get an adjustable throttle arm thingy too

Cheers guys. Only thing is I am 6'4 so don't want to mess around with pedals etc.. Just on the (very odd) occasion that she wants a go would be nice to use the booster cushion!
