So the interior of my new acquisition ('93 4.3 with moon mileage ) turns out to be in a very nice condition overall - very good leather and carpets, two small marks on the dash and center console that should be no trouble for a vinyl repair specialist to sort should they ever bug me to that extent) but although the veneer of the dash panel itself is almost 100% intact, on a closer look the radio panel looks pretty much FUBAR to me.

So what to do? Having the radio panel restored would be the most painless option, but -given that the quoted 8 hrs installation time for a Leven dash would be mine, and thus free - simple economics might speak against it. Find another panel - apart from the obvious matching issues, rocking horse sh*t?

Obvious alternative would be aforementioned Leven stainless dash, but I'm not too sure about the check pattern. But this
I do like. What's it - the optional TVR alu dash (which the Bible says was available as an option on Griffs and Chims ? Can I still get one for the early Chimaera dash, and where?

I've just fitted a leven dash in mine. It really is a piece of wee wee to do. Don't feel compelled to have it done by a garage. If you've got a 10mm spanner, some epoxy glue and a few hours, it's very DIYable!
