Well back to work today - kinda. Dorris is at work therefore whilst beloved car is in bits for major chassis and all things metallic tidy up I thought I may take advantage. One of the to do jobs before getting the car chipped was to shorten the trumpets.

I know this has been talked about but flinkin blip - make sure the partner/wife etc is out when you "just pop the trumpets in the oven to heat up" yikes popped upstairs to check e-mails and went back down. Smoke every where and the poor dogs are shut in the kitchen (with breathing apparatus on (for benefit of RSPCA)).

Well once removed angle grinder will be fired up and I intend to remove 25mm from them. Any opinions on what Loctite to use on re assembly or any genral tips or pointers - before I cut.
