Got a 97 chim, has been stood up for a while battery seems ok; however when turning the key no lights and no pump kicking in nor doors etc, have checked the fuses any ideas.

Sounds like your battery has had it.
What is it that makes you think your battery is Ok? How long has the car been left and was it kept charged with an accumate or similar battery conditioner?
If the battery has been allowed to go completely flat they sometimes never recover and will not hold any charge at all.
Have you a volt meter you can check the battery with, or a bulb with a bit of wire on it that you can put across the battery and see if their really is anything in it.
Do your head or side lights work? (if not sounds like battery)
