PAS reccomended fluid?

As the title suggests,can someone tell me the fluid as in book please.

dexron II or TQF as long as its red auto transmission fluid it will be fine,does no harm to change every now & then and clean out the resevoir and filter,the steering rack will thank you for it by giving you a longer service life.

alan, the filter is built in the resevoir so you have to remove the resevoir and give it a good rinse out with jizer/brake cleaner/airline and make sure its dry before you refit,you will see the dirt coming out the filter as you rinse,sorry i should have made this clearer,if your not sure just top up for now,good luck.

Just seen your thread Simon,no wonder my mechanic pissed himself when i suggested changing it.Good job hes a mate ,and a top mechanic,Use to look after some of the Brands cars.Thats the danger of a little bit of knowledge,but im learning.

I use Dextron III in mine,and have done since i was told it has all the properties of Dextron II,but also has a higher heat tolerence than D II.

Not neccesary in the PAS,dex11 is over spec anyways.

They sell Mobil 1 ATF220 in Esso stations, only in 1 litre bottles though. Havent been able to get it in bigger volumes anywhere.
