Hi, Trying to find out for the 'in law'!! Does anyone know what the fuel capacity is for a chimaera 4.0L. Only reason for asking is we are taking the TVRs down to south of France during the summer for a couple of weeks covering approx 1500 miles travelling!!, and he would like to start working out how much its gonna cost him fuel!!!! Don't know what we's worrying about i've gotta get my 4.5 cerbie there, think mines gonna cost a bit more!!!!!!! Thanks driving

No way Jose!
Don't care what book says - mine takes about 50 litres max. (About £45 per fill.)
( And having "coasted" off M6 one evening - found this the hard way! Tank is empty before guage says so - even got sympathy from wifey on that score!)

Does what it says on the tin! E=empty. Get about 45 quid in mine too. When it says E it really is empty! had that embarrasing coasting moment too. Then some smart arse says 'fun when they run!' mad

Just put 54.37 litres into mine - I even said to the son I'd only got a coke bottle's worth left. I usually fill up after 230 miles, get about 10-11 gals in.

Interestingly, I'm sure the fuel pump was getting louder as well.

Guage was about 1mm above E

Oh yes...when the petrol gets very low turn off the ignition and then turn it back on again...it takes lonerg to prime and makes for some intersting noises as the pump sucks in air as well as fuel!!!!!!!
