Thanks very much for the info.
I was impressed with them on the phone and I think £ 260 is a bargain .

As long as you have another car for a runabout. Wouldn't insure me with just the Tamora.

Yep, good quote, and I went with them.

Happy to say not needed the claims service, so no idea how good that is.

Theres the problem for me, garage is reserved for 'stuff' (as the MRs calls it)

I'm paying rather more than you lot with Hagerty @ £460 for '92 Griff 430, 44 years old, sd&p only, 3,000 miles, on drive (not garaged) - but they were the cheapest! Haven't had to claim so don't know whether they're any good - and I'd rather not know, if you see what I mean...? hehe
Hopefully it'll get better as my experience in powerful RWD sportscars increases - this is my first.

That may be why your premium is that little higher. You may not be too surprised to learn what sort of % of people total their first TVR.......In the first year of ownership.

I'm doing my best to gain experience - 1,000 miles in first three weeks on a policy that allows 3,000 miles p.a. - weekends only too! silly
Methinks I'll have to 'buy' some more miles before too long.

Thats the biggest trouble with Hagerty - the mileage. OK if you do an absolute max of 6k PA, but as I do closer to 10k they're no good to me. A-Plan on the other hand were fantastic.
