Almost the same as below, only i flashed my main beam yesterday and the radio went off, scratchchin so i checked the main beam fuse fuse and it had blown, replaced it and it blew it again. If i put on the headlights and switch to main beam it blows the main beam fuse and then also blows the dipped beam fuse banghead any ideas chaps.

maybe, and i mean maybe you have a faulty bulb and the filament as broken and shorted, quite a common fault in my trade, worth a look anyways.....but you have to get to the bulbs to test, sorry about that.

That seems unusual, did it come back on with the light fuses replaced?

Yes it appears to linked to the main beam somewhere.

Not my cup of tea, I would reverse those 'upgrades' first if it was my car. If you really want the stereo to be independent of the ign switch, there are better ways to do it IMHO.

Invariably, shoddy wiring work (not down to TVR Engineering) leads to problems....

The stereo is not independant of the ignition switch, and this is the original Stereo fitted by TVR.
