Hi all, Am in the process of changing all my wishbone bushes and also need to fix the top diff mount. First of all, do I need to drop the diff to do this??, I would quite like to anyway because it has a slight leak and would like to find it!!!, Secondly to take the wishbones off I need to take the hub off, I want to leave the driveshafts on the hub and unbolt them from the diff, I can see 6 allen key bolts which I think hold them on??, but can't for the life of me undo them!!, any tips??, + any other info much appreciated!!!, (Steve/Peter ), many thanks
Rich

As stated in Bible 2....

They should be T40 TORX bolts and yes they can be swines. The T40 bolts are a little undersized on the head and it can ge difficult to get the required torque to undo them. Some people have ground them off and then used Mole grips to undo the stud.

That's in bible 3. It is a swine of a job. Disconnect propshaft, drive shafts, speed sensors and unbolt and drop it down. The diff is heavy so you will need to support it. Don't rely on catching it otherwise you could loose a finger or two!

When you take the prop shaft out of the back of the g'box you'll get atf all over the place unless you've drained previously drained it
