The hood on my Chim needs a bit of tlc. Does anyone know what size bottle of the Renovo I will need to make sure I cover the whole hood? Thanks S
Are you talking about the renovo dye or proofer?
If the dye - about one third to one half a bottle should do you.
If you're talking proofer, buy Thompson's Waterseal - much cheaper, more effective and longer lasting

Thompson's Waterseal is designed for brickwork and as far as I know states on the can do not use on fabric ie car roofs like the chimaera's.
Use Fabsil to do the job, which you can get from all most camping equipment shops, this stuff is designed for fabric.
Get a stiff clothes brush and give the roof a good going over, and then paint this stuff on and it normally brings the roof up very well. Dont use Thompsons Waterseal.

That’s the Thompsons Gold you're talking about. The standard water seal (Red Tin) is designed for brickwork & fabric and is perfectly OK to use on the roof of the Chim.

Do you want a hand picking your toys up off the floor?
What you said in your post was completely incorrect - sorry I wasn't more lovely in my reply, I'll try so much harder next time.
Now it's Friday, rapidly approching beer o'clock, so let's just chill

To cap this arguement, I have been using Thompson's waterseal on my TVRs for almost 5 years now. I used it on my S3 which was kept outside, in Newcastle and braved, torrential rain and snow. Worked perfectly. You may have been told about the Thompson's Waterseal plus. Which is most certainly not suitable for use on the roof and will totally wreck it. The standard stuff is for use on brick, mortar and canvas.
Oh in response to the original question, this may help:
