Don't you just love threads like this..

Get straight to the point, no banter, no arguements, no bother.. Fantastic.

(doesn't give much amusement though!)

there is space for it all here! Its just what I wanted to hear. I saw the plugs cheap cheap cheap on ebay, but before commiting to buy you can talk to a bloke who has fitted thousands of plugs. Great stuff! But I picked up a major bargain though, brand new pace saver wheel for 20 quid!

I need to get mine in for a service at topcats soon, is it worth trying to source the servie parts myself or leave it to them?

Cheers

Max

just my cents worth but i would leave the service parts to the garage,i hate it when people try to supply the parts to my garage for a service or whatever, unless there supplying fancy discs, pads or exhausts(there under the impression you put top up on the retailprice, we dont)and then theres the chance of the bits being wrong,DOH,where in the s/east are you Tvrchutney.

You have to say that though. - It's not as if you dislike the tvr marque yourself. So if you insult us 'lot' then really you'd just be insulting yourself... At least you'd beat everyone else to it.

Oh really i think,i have upset(not insulting its only a car forum) other owners on this forum on more than one occasion, you see i cant help myself if i think someones getting the wrong information i get stuck in,its one of many faults, and on average you can be a helpful bunch,if i dident mean it i wouldent say it,i found out a lot of useful information before purchase from you lot.

I'm in Berkhamsted Hertfordshire. I wasn't for one moment suggesting a TVR mechanic would top up on retail! As I haven't owned one of these before I was wondering if there was somewhere to get a service pack at a good deal blah blah blah. In fact I was just wasting time just rambling on looking for something to chat about blah blah blah....! I've never supplied service parts for any of my other cars and the TVR will be no different. This all started just because I put a search in ebay for TVR chim and came up with the plugs - thought are these a bargain...... NOPE came the reply. So thats about it really...blah blah ..........
