Went out for a hoon today and noticed a slight judder under hard braking so it looks like new discs and pads time.
Last time on my old 400 I went for EBC discs with Green Stuff pads which worked well but a lot of people have had good results with the Mintex pad.

I'm going to make some phonecalls tomorrow to tried and tested suppliers but any valued advice would be more than welcome.

Ta,

Corin

This is a very two sided issue, some people love green stuff; I've tried them and concluded that they were nothing special. Mintex 1155 or 1144 work well on my Chim and you can get them on the very cheap from Questmead. I have the AP 4 pot conversion and actually prefer Ferodo as an all rounder but they are expensive for my calliper. Mintex 1144's are excellent road and track. 1155's have more metal in the compound and use a race spec adhesive that is very good at preventing brake squeal. I'm running 1155's now and love them. Mintex also do a pad called 'Extreme', these are my favourite for the AP calliper but they do tend to glaze and squeal when pushed to the limit so I can use them.

Yes. There's little difference in road performance between 1144's and 1155's but the 1155's are superior on the track and can cope with the higher temperatures better than the 1144's

Standard Tuscan drilled units that came with the wheel & brake upgrade kit. I'd opt for grooved discs next time, the drilled units are a little too noisy.
