Sounds about the best use for them! Wonder why they have only done 500 miles?

They might be ok on a wheel barrow, but make sure you don't go round corners too fast!

I did have this make of tyre on a 950cc Fiesta years ago (my first car). They were rubbish in anything but hot, sunny and dry conditions.

Previous owner of the car may have put them on to sell the car/get it through an MOT (especially if it was a garage). New owner may have taken one look after buying and got them off pronto.
My car came with Hankooks which the previous owner had put on to get through the MOT to sell which I swiftly binned.

I think you may be being a tad unfair. A lot of tyre makes are very sensitive to the climate, these tyres might be better in the warm summer or on continental tours? Many of the 'budget' tyres find their way to these shores via the Continent where it is still common to change to winter tyres ~ so they are much more comfortable with summer compounds than we are. If you could test some of these tyres very cheaply, you might be surprised in the hotter weather. Bit confused why you would consider fiting 60 profile tyres tho?

Maybe I am being a tad unfair. As I said I have actually had them on a 950cc Fiesta, and they were only 125 width tyres, so that could be why they were not very good in the wet. But at the time I didn't have much money and they only cost me £12 each new supplied and fitted! I still wouldn't use them on my Tiv though even if they were the correct size. (As stated in my original post!)
They are actually 55 profiles not 60 in the advert laugh

I Agree, they would be perfect for smoking.

Especially if you want to have some practice or just want to get dizzy...
