Valentines day, and she lets me down!

O.k guys, I decided to disconnect the battery and give the old
girl a bit of a trickle charge over night to give the battery
a bit of a boost. Reconnected this morning and now wont start.
I have the ignition lights working and car just cranks over.

It was fine before i disconnected the battery, have i missed
some thing..?

Disconnect the earth from the car battery for about 5 secs. Reconnect and then immediately press the plipper to lock/unlock the car. Everything should now work normally :-)

Have you disturbed the two relays on the loose loom next to the battery.
Try unplugging each relay and look at the spade terminals and check they are nice and clean.
Then reconnect.
Does the fuel pump prime for a couple of seconds when you first turn on the ignition?
If it isn't it could be one of those relays.
Do any of the headlights or side lights come on?
Someone on here recently did something similar and missed reconnecting one of the smaller
cables to the battery and had no electrics at all.
Let us know how you get on.
Cheers
Paul.

Thanks for the response. The wiring has been moved to gain
accress to the battery but no relays have been removed.

When turning on the ignition the fuel pump does not self
prime, my thinking to not hearing the fuel pump prime was
that the immobiliser was not completing a curcuit.

Thanks
