My drivers side seat belt roller has stopped working completely. Clever Trevor sells kits for £45 quid which includes the buckle and connector. Has anyone fitted one of these kits and if so can you tell me if new belt can be used with the existing connector as this looks a bit tricky to remove. Alternatively is there anywhere I can still get the original part.

I read recently on one of these PH TVR forums where someone had taken their seized up unit apart, cleaned it and put it back together and it all worked again.
Have a search, see if you can find it. Try the word PALL because for some reason that word pops into my mind (odd word I think)

Found one...

They are just bog standard inertia reels with a 30cm stalk.
Securon list them (part # 500/30)
readitwww.securon.co.uk/applications/app_list/ttoz/seat_belts_ttoz.htm
any motor factor should do them.
(i used to do sales for a couple motor factors and it looks like my next job will be sales at another motor factor nerd)
Should be about £30-£40
Probably on Ebay some where as well.
Securon will sell them to you off their web site, but at a higher price, (£57.74)yikes
